At La Coruña in the center. In the foreground was the frigate Hernan Cortes and the farthest was the German vessel Heimo Reckmann.
        She was built at Cadiz in 1953 by the Sociedad Española de Construcción Naval at Matagorda (Cádiz). She was part of the Serie A of Elcano, to whom was bought in 1956, together with her sister ship Alcacer.
        In 1969 she was acquired in public auction by Nicomedes García together with the sister vessels Almazan and Almaden, passing to Gabarras de Cabotaje, S.A.. and converted in 1970/71 to barges for bulk transport along the Cantábrico. She was scrapped in indeterminate date.
        The Alcacer was acquired in 1969 also in public auction, in this case by Naviera Asón being rename Alfonso.
