In her early years she suffered a serious accident, since on 13/September/1974, when she was berhted in Saint Louis de Rhone, she capsized and sank. She was refloated two months later and entered service again after being repaired.
In 1978 she was sold to Naviera Peninsular, which kept her name. In 1983 she was sold to a Moroccan shipping company, which gave her the name of Zakia, and in 1988 to another Moroccan shipping company that renamed her as Melouiya. In 1990 she was sold again, this time to a French shipping company that renamed her Elodie II. Her life was already very short, because after suffering great damage from a storm on a trip between Colchester and Lorient she was laid up in November of the same year and in 1991 was scrapped.
