Collision of Atlantico
On September 1978 she had a collision in Gibraltar Strait with an Italian ship.
The Italian ship sank and the "Atlantico" got onboard the survivors.
I think that there was one dead person on the Italian ship.
After the "Atlantico" proceeded to Algeciras, where we arrived on "Indico" few days later to pick up part of her cargo.
This photo was taken from the "Indico" poop deck. We were berthed just forward of the "Atlantico".
