Monte Zalama - Revista de Ingeniería Naval
The grounding produced extensive damages to the forward bow, several areas in the starboard side and the double bottom. She was in a trip with scrap from Bridgeport (USA) to Japan.
Santa Elena - http://usmaritimecommission.de/
After the grounding the crew left the ship and was picked up by the Santa Elena and taken to New York. Later the ship floated again and the crew was sent back to the vessel, and a tug towed her to Curaçao. After temporary repairs she proceeded under her own power to Gijón, to discharge the scrap, and later to Astillero.
