In the year 2001 was founded the Spanish Branch, which goals are:
Fill in the lack of interest existing in Spain regarding the sea and ship lovers.
Make the World Ship Society known in Spain.
Contact and keep in touch with all the Spanish maritime institutions.
Collaborate with the monthly magazine "Marine News", edited by the World Ship Society, improving in the world the kwnoledge about the Spanish maritime news.
Help to increase the asociation to the World Ship Society, through the Spanish Branch.
Help to keep in touch the members radicated in Spain in order to share their knowledge, and put in touch members with mutual interest.
The present direction was elected on October 2012 at Castellón.
